While we view things from different angles I find it interesting we both talked about people leaving and the potential of OpenSim.

Mark

P.S. I've been on the edge of leaving so many times myself but so far, I have instead re-invented myself.

In any case, I hope I'll get a chance to meet you at the end of July before you leave London/the UK. And maybe we'll meet in OpenSim, perhaps on the Rezable Grid.

If not, perhaps another time.

SioAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34163447.post-8686618363382275962010-06-16T03:04:15.221+01:002010-06-16T03:04:15.221+01:00I think that many of us who started out with a lot...I think that many of us who started out with a lot of idealism about Second Life have been bumping up against the limitations of virtual worlds. Or at least the gap between the potential we once imagined and what we have been able to achieve.

It feels like 1980 to me. Woodstock is a foggy memory, Hendrix and Joplin are dead. And Reagan has just been elected.

Anyway, I wish you the best. I'm guessing your SL retirement will last longer than my retirements from blogging. :)Botgirl Questihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01707252228872837054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34163447.post-26026305538757470422010-06-16T00:11:52.702+01:002010-06-16T00:11:52.702+01:00Damn you woman!
